Solvency 2

FundsXML France is currently working on the impact of new European legislation known as "Solvency 2" for insurance companies: their asset managers have to provide their customers with all data necessary for the calculation of SCR (Solvency Capital Requirement) by insurers.
Many discussions are underway on the implementation of the look-through approach of funds by insurers and their management companies.
These reflections are now struggling to unanimity on the practical calculation, aggregation and formatting of information to be retrieved and processed by insurers.
To facilitate the emergence of economic solutions compatible with the needs and constraints of insurers and asset managers on these issues, FundsXML France has created a working group involving asset managers, insurers, software editors, data vendors and consultants.

This group worked throughout the year 2012. He designed a methodology for Solvency 2 reporting from management companies to their customers insurers. This methodology is documented at Solvency 2 page.

KIID

XML modeling of the "Key Investor Information Document" (KIID), developed in the frameworkt of the working group established for this purpose by the French asset managers' association AFG and led by FundsXML France, is completed. It is now integrated into the European FundsXML dictionary
